I'll wait until my circumstances improve before believing in God.

简答 Short Answer

Waiting for good circumstances is like saying 'I'll see a doctor once I'm healthy.' It's precisely because you have needs that you should come to God now. Besides, tomorrow isn't guaranteed.

Detailed Answer

This thinking is common, but careful reflection reveals several problems:

**1. The perfect conditions will never arrive.** Life always has the next problem to solve, the next goal to achieve. If you wait until everything is resolved, you'll never believe, because perfect circumstances never come.

**2. The logic is actually reversed.** The gospel isn't a bonus for those doing well — it's hope for those in difficulty. 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick' (Matthew 9:12). Your current struggles are precisely why you need God.

**3. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.** 'What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes' (James 4:14). No one can guarantee another opportunity tomorrow. Today's delay may become an eternal regret.

**4. No prerequisites are needed to come to God.** You don't need to fix your life, solve your problems, or improve yourself first. Jesus called fishermen, tax collectors, and sinners — all in the midst of their messy lives.

**5. God can transform your circumstances into blessings.** After believing, even if circumstances don't change, how you face them will be completely different. Paul wrote his most joyful letter from prison. Faith isn't useful only when things are good — it gives you strength and peace in any situation.

Don't wait any longer. 'Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation' (2 Corinthians 6:2).
